Summary

The Impulso Mais Digital project aims to make agricultural sciences more attractive to new generations, support medical sciences in the digital transition, and expand digital skills training to non-STEM areas.

Challenge

To modernize agricultural education, integrating technology and sustainability to attract new generations and respond to the demands of the future.

Objectives

  • Review 16 bachelor's and master's degree programs, introducing new elective courses, updating content, and investing in infrastructure and equipment to integrate sustainable agricultural technologies.
  • Launch a new postgraduate course in Digital and Environmental Technologies in Agricultural Sciences (30 ECTS).
  • Offer microcredentials in eight subject areas: phytosanitary management, water resources and irrigation, soils and fertilization, green transition and circularity, digital and technological transition, plant propagation and improvement, animal and forestry production, and veterinary sciences.

NOVA Cidade in the project

NOVA Cidade (NOVA IMS) ensures data management and analysis, the development of analytics and visualization, as well as training, capacity building, and methodological support within the scope of the +AgroDigitech project.
