Our territorial projects aim to design integrated interventions that respond to the specific dynamics of regions, basins, intermunicipal systems, and city networks.
We work with data, spatial modeling, and co-planning to promote cohesion, resilience, and territorial innovation by connecting local ecosystems and promoting balanced development between the center and the periphery.
Data4Mobility – PSML is developing a data and analytics platform for mobility in the historic area of Sintra, focusing on monitoring flows, access, and tourist pressure. The solution integrates dispersed sources (traffic, parking, transport, ticketing, meters, weather, events, among others) into a single repository and provides dashboards and reports to support operational management and strategic decision-making.
The project is being developed under AI4PA – Digital Innovation Hub, as a Test Before Invest activity.
This project supports the implementation of wine policy in the Douro Demarcated Region (RDD), providing the IVDP with tools to accurately identify vineyard plots, monitor winegrowers, and ensure regulatory compliance, including support for setting production quotas.
The Augmented Agriculture and Sustainability project aims to create a national hub for development, demonstration, and training to promote the adoption of digital and sustainable agriculture in Portugal. Through the use of augmented and virtual reality, the project is developing a platform that integrates real-time data from multiple sources, supporting decision-making in the field and the modernization of agricultural practices.
The Impulso Mais Digital project aims to make agricultural sciences more attractive to new generations, support medical sciences in the digital transition, and expand digital skills training to non-STEM areas.
The project seeks to strengthen technological capacity, human resources specialization, and sustainability in the tourism sector, contributing to economic transformation and CO₂ reduction.
AIVENTS aims to improve decision-making in event management in the Oeste region by developing artificial intelligence agents based on language models (LLM). Based on OesteCIM's Smart Region Data Platform, the project integrates data from multiple sources to support the planning, management, and evaluation of the economic, social, and territorial impact of public events.
The AKIS project is the result of cooperation between DGADR and NOVA IMS to develop an interactive information system (AKIS Portugal platform) that strengthens the flow of innovation and knowledge in agriculture and rural areas. It also includes a mobile application (Android and iOS), allowing greater interaction with users, easier access to services and content, and collection of data on behavior and preferences.
The Digital Transformation Training and Action Project (PFATD) – Data-Driven Agriculture falls under the IEFP's Leader + Digital Measure, co-financed by the PRR with the aim of training agricultural managers and entrepreneurs for digital transformation. The proposal includes three editions of the Data-Driven Agriculture program, in a blended format, for the North, Center, and Alentejo regions.
AI4PA – Artificial Intelligence & Data Science for Public Administration is a Digital Innovation Hub that brings together public and private entities, universities, research centers, and accelerators with the aim of supporting the digital transformation of public administration. The project promotes the application of artificial intelligence and data science to optimize public policies, improve service quality, strengthen digital skills, and develop reusable solutions in line with the Digital Transition.
